New 2D optical inspection machine at EMI

Today we are introducing you to one of our new 2D optical inspection machine : VICI Vision.

This equipment is said to be for turning since it has a rotating axis.

Several types of measurements can thus be detected :

• Static measurements: diameter, length, angle...
• Dynamic measurements: runout, circularity, cylindricity, etc.
• Wires: nominal and pitch diameter, roll size...
• The nut: diameter, asymmetry, time...

At EMI we use this system to check plastic parts but also our moulding parts.

Finally, this machine is a real time saver since in only 1 to 2 minutes, the conformity of the parts can be qualified.
