Use of two new Autodesk software packages in the design office

As part of our drive for continuous improvement, our design office has acquired two new Autodesk software packages: Moldflow and Nastran.

Deployed by our partner Aplicit, these solutions enable us to go further in our innovation strategy by :

• analysing the structural function of parts using Nastran
• simulating the filling of parts with Moldflow

Carrying out these studies also has the considerable advantage of reducing the number of tooling set-ups, giving us better control over costs and lead times.
