EMI has acquired a second Piovan Group raw materials central

This new installation, which is currently being installed, is dedicated to technical materials, enabling them to be dried before being put into production, as well as fully automating the flow from the silos to the injection moulding machines.

It feeds 11 injection moulding machines, ranging from 150t to 450t, in single and dual material versions, and comprises 6 drying ovens with different storage capacities:

• 2x 1,000L
• 2x 600L
• 1x 300L
• 1x 100L

The system is also ergonomically designed, adaptable to demand, secure and communicates with several user stations.  The production, materials supply and technical maintenance departments have been trained to familiarise themselves with the new equipment.
