New 150t injection moulding machine at EMI

Our production workshop has just acquired new equipment : an ARBURG 150t injection moulding machine.

This machine is called "hybrid" because it works with movements by energy :

• Electric : for energy saving, speed and precision of movements ;
• Hydraulic : for injection power

The particularity of this equipment is the possibility of integrating moulds with shifted injection axes. It will therefore be able to produce 1K or 2K parts, using a dedicated interface for the addition of an independent injection unit adapted to the needs of our customers.

Finally, a robot will complete the installation to allow the implementation of automated processes.
